i am not sure wich of my scope pro and pulsar 2 cards is the host.
i have gigabyte dq6p965 mobo.
i place first (closer to cpu) the pro card, and second the pulsar2.
after scope installation, pulsar2 6dsp is seen first on dsp meter and th 14dsps are after counting from 7 to 20.
Does this means that the host is pulsar2?
which card i is the host?
Hey,
Yes, in this case the Pulsar II is the host card. You can change this by editing the CSET.INI file in your scope directory.
Add the entries in the CSET.INI file;
[board0]
boardid=1
[board1]
boardid=0
Save the file, and open scope again.
It's described in the manual on page 102, this might do the trick

Very interesting, didn't know that. I have sfp installed on a dual boot. On the music partition my scope pro is the host card but on internet partition it would seem it is one of the pulsar 2's as the i/o defaults to the pulsar 2.stardust wrote:host tells which card will appear with its I/O modules in the routing window
numboard tells how many boards you have
The count of slots is not always the same direction for different mobos.ARCADIOS wrote:but the routing window shows both boards.
you mean wich one appears as first?
in fact i am not sure yet wich is the host.
and this because without editting cset ini the dsp meter shows first the 6dsp card even if i have the 14dsp card in the 1st slot closer to cpu
