Modular.....What About Flexor III ??

Post by dawman »

Modular is going to be fun in XITE-1.

But I can't see using it w/o Assaf's Flexor III.

Can't seem to get an answer on how I will, or if I will be able to transfer the license in my rgy. files?

I can get around the poly restrictions, or so it seems,

But Modular w/o Flexor III......................?

I wish someone would comment on this as the Adern forum is not very active, and I have lost the chat room connections.

I finally get a chance to really use this stuff the way I need to use it, and the lack of a simple answer has made me ponder the usefullnes of this license.

I was going to erase it from my rgy.files and cards prior to their sales, but hey I may as well let someone else have it if I can;t use it in XITE-1.

Any Information On This Would Be Appreciated.

I think this is an issue with the coming Xite, developers are going to have to allow you to transfer your license though, would you support them again if they didn't? Or would you buy everything over? Probably not, so as to not cause a stink, they should comply with their customers wishes. I don't know why they are being closed lipped about it, there is a change coming, Xite is coming out and it'd be good to know from all the developers how the license issues will be handled.

Scope 5.0 might be the issue, I am not sure.

Nobody wants to talk about it, that's for sure.

Well, if that's true, and I hope it isn't, that's a major loss for the new platform.

Transfer will be possible for sure because it does not hram anyone !!!! Let's face the truth :

1) all the X-ite users will remove the good plugins form their boards which will make the plugins unavilable for second market

2) the huge power of Xite + the friendy attitude of developpers will boost the new plugins sales

3) more X-ite will be sold (I probably would not a buy an X-ite if no transfer is possible)

4) a transfer fee (let say 55 euros like before) could be shared between deveoppers accoding to the licences involved

5) If transfer were not possible, even the scope addicts and power users would drop Soniccore or at least would drop the idea of getting an X-ite.

..... Because of these 5 points, i am not worrying at all. I have sold my big boards and i am waiting with my scope project full of plugins

I'm sure the transfers will be available too, it has to happen, I'm just finding it strange that none of the developers are letting us know the arrangements yet.

well, I do think that soniccore is very busy right now and they may have no time for official comments ... I personally prefer this kind of behaviour : we just need something reliable and that fit to the target(s) needs...Obviously, there are many things to decide now and I just suppose it is time to ... wait !

I am very excited too but everybody (even 3rd party developpers) will have to wait the hardware launch for sure. And I suppose we will soon see the "official" look of the beast. More details will follow very soon... that's what I think !

As a sum-up : I have no idea but one thing seems obvious : this dog will ... :D

There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. These are things we don't know we don't know.
