Changing IO boards.....
I changed a Adat IO board for a Plus board with someone on this forum, and i was wondering if it is advisable to do a fresh OS install. Or should a reinstall of scope be enough?? Or perhaps can i make a copy of my existing Scope folder, reinstall scope and put my "backup" scope folder on top of this new install??

Ok, i installed the Plus IO on my Scope Pro board and all the IO's are visible in the menu. Ive had some " communication error with with Pulsar board " and "unexpected DSP load" error messages, but after reconnecting the STDM cables again, everything seems to be working fine. Time will tell.....
P.S I accidently broke one plastic screw while changing the board. Should this be a big problem if i ever want to change it again for some reason ??

I've changed I/O plates a few times, and I haven't had to reinstall anything. All you have to do is replace the hardware I/O modules in your projects (they're tied to specific hardware) and "cable" connections. Not too difficult.
You are going to get error messages until you replace the modules.
