Hi,

If You want to try CW devices before You buy them (at the CW online shop) and you are a Mac user you can still try'em. Yes, they say they are 'PC only demo' but I downloaded and launched the arpeg 01 module without almost any problem. The only problem was when I had to copy/paste the request string - there is no automatic way for Mac users, so I typed it manually.

Yes, but...if it was that simple, wouldn't CW be aware of that too? Just a thought...
Thanks for listening.

If they don't say it works, it's your responsability to run the plugs. And they will probably not give support.

Did you ask Creamware?

No, I didn't. Though it did no harm to my system, you are right. You know I'm Aries and sometimes first I do something and then think about it

Hey Folks,
if you take an HexEditor like Hexedit, and open such a file ( also the fullversions ) and remove the first ( let me lie ) 8 bit (?) (compare it to other files ) you can open all *.oxe and almost all other pc-creamware devs on your mac. Especial with a Luna and a version about 2.4 there were a lot of probs, but so you can solve the holes.

greetings

rpd

btw.: Creamware know this hint

As Atomic said - for your own responsibility only. A request string? All instructions you'll find on the CW site, ie. when you open a download link all will be explained (you'll have to download a request module, open it with Pulsar then a number will appear, then you'll have to write it down (as macs don't have copy/paste option)and so on...

Just thought this needed a bump after a recent thread. So, samplaire was the first to try this cool trick.

After you tried the plugin you may want to buy it. Then you can meet a problem. Here is the detailed explanation and solution as well: http://www.planetz.com/forums/viewtopic ... forum=3&10 (by Mr Arkadin)
