Recent Developements Much Appreciated

Post by dawman »

In the last month some rather incredible stuff is available form 3rd party developers and SDK guys.

Guys who don't have Scope that lurk in our forum must be shittin' their britches. :D

MCCY's FluLiq 06 is an incredible modulation effect that's made my Rhodes samples so unique and in Yo' face.

Hifiboom's Advanced Clock Delay is a great freebie w/ super control of tempo based delays, that can create really unique polyrhythm's.

Shroomz' great HP / LP filter is just perfect for those who seek anything other than stock devcices.

Newbie Jah Servant's considerate Drive Delay Bundle was a great start also.

Then there's Solaris 5.0.6 BETA which I am starting to play with, and I can say it is full of great updates for an already maturely developed synth. The separate Oscillaor Glide, and Poly Glide features are spectacular, and I haven't even had time to really get under the hood of it yet.

And let's not forget the long awaited Multi-Synth which is an amazing synth workstation. This cannot possibly have a hardware equal anywhere. It's possibilities are endless. The Oscillators can be used in other synths like Modular, and Bowen's stuff. Some of these Osc.'s have 8 waves to detune and transpose and add width to !! I am particularly happy with the new Jaws Oscillator, I have used it in 1 slot with the other slot housing the Vintage Microscope, and this FAT shit just blows me away.

I remember when I first joined here I was elated and loved all of the SDK, and 3rd party stuff as well as CW / SC's devices.

Our devices now are much more exciting to use as many here have helped each other in creating some beautiful GUI's to go along with their creations.

All I can say is that I never owned any gear other than my Oberheims that made me practice and compose so much.

I am even more excited to use this than ever, those guys really did a fantastic job when they made this platform.

For three years I have continuously learned from the members here, and keep learning. I know of no other platform that keeps on giving like this one.

For all of you guys lurking around to possibly buy into this fantasic platform, the longer you wait, the longer your sound remains generic.

Jump In For The Big Win, Or Be Punished w/ the likes of Scope.

It is Great to see new devices continuosly being made as well as the Platform 5 update soon to come. I expect things to continuosly get better as well as a growth in popularity for SCOPE to the point SCOPE is recognized as the high-end to the Mainstream music industry in both sound and functioning.. For me there is no other product i'd choose over it period, and i believe as more Musicians/Engineers truly compare SCOPE to alot of other products out there more Musicians/Engineers will want to take part in using it, especially as it grows in capability.. The third party development really aids in keeping this unique Platform strong and attractive, Much appreciation here!

Here's a fascinating new delay from the delay master himself.

http://www.spacef-devices.com/dacore/in ... Itemid=120

He makes recording very difficult, as I could just play w/ this device and make presets and not yell at my DAW like the caveman from the Geico commercial as he beats on his old CRT. :D

Using BBII Filters w/ this as you search for a sweet spot must be similar to an artist mixing colors on the palette. So many ways to go.

Beautiful work Mehdi.

Also the mono to stereo delays in the mono channels and Multi-Synth are just so considerate and effective.

It is a Multi-Synth night now.

I have to aggree, there is much vibe going on at the moment.

- the takover of Creamware by soniccore.
- new drivers and maybe an improved v5 SFP
- new commercial devices from all directions , I`m especially lloking forward to warps comeback :)
- and very active free device section with new sdk beginners at startup
+ the hope for a new hardware in the future, which eventually will really come.

+ the valuable great supportman Ralf@Soniccore
+ a nice community, that is unmatched in i-net: friendly, everyone helps each other....

+ ... +....

A scope user cannot be much happier.

( i may have some cool secret stuff also)

Advanced Clock Delay is a very sweet little gift too.

I have been having fun with tempo based projects lately with all of this quantising shit I had to re learn in Cubase.

Your mathematical delay sounds really good. Dual polyrhythms on sparesly played comps sound awesome w/ tight drum / bass / comp tracks.
