the Scope version is really great. i'd expect the vst version to be great, but resource hungry like a mofo....

there is a new device from brainworx in the SC shop, btw, of course for scope. but they seem to charge shipping for it right now, so I'm a bit undecided... :)

Well my info is a bit outdated (musikmesse ffm last year), but they told me something like it and and recommended buying rather the vst.

what plugin are you talking about?
the bx hybrid (as seen in the pics you posted) is a new plugin, and it seems only available as vst right now. the plugin you might refer to is the bx digital, whose versions (vst, scope) indeed differ in their features (well, according to the description they provide :) ).

We must clarify this.

I have emailed Dirk.

He sold his DSP boards though as he is expecting new hardware maybe?

Sorry, I`ve been misled by the topic announcement. I`ll shut up from now on (in this thread only - I'm afraid).

well, I didn't read the first post properly either. it was jimmy who posted the pics, not you, so let's just blame him again for everything, as usual :D

-greetings, markus-

ps. jimmy, what the heck has that uber-mobo to do with the brainworx plugin? :)

The Scope brainworx is awesome. I love it.
I tried the VST demo, but it's a resource hog.

How do we demo the SCOPE version? How many dsp's does the SCOPE Version require?

I don't know the current demo policy, but if you contact the bx digital guys, they may be still offering demos.

I assume this is a VERY surgical tool, meaning keeps everything clean without introducing artifacts? The video sounded ok but can't tell much without demoing. I did email brainworx about SCOPE demo and am waiting for response.

It's very clean. Works great in a dedicated project that is setup for mixdown/mastering chain with the bx in the master channel.

...but this isn't the bx_hybrid jimmy wanted to know about. it's the bx_digital which bx and SC sell for months...
the bx_hybrid seems to be released as vst only right now.
the bx_control is decribed as vst only as well, nevertherless this one is available as scope device already, but only at the SC shop.
