I remember a few years back there was a guy who made this really sick looking delay that has dozens of virtual cables attached to it.
Does anyone remember it's name?
His pic of the project window was quite bizarre.
Was it a joke or real>

Not sure which device you mean, but the best place to look at pictures of old Pulsar devices is probably http://www.steckenleiter.de/
It's not kept up to date anymore but for the first few years it was the most comprehensive list of 3rd party devices.
