Midi Through

is there any way to use Midi Through as 2nd Midi Out?

No it's not possible. There's no access to the thru port in the routing window, so the midi input signal can't be disconnected etc.

What we need is a universal usb midi module so that we can access usb midi devices from within the sfp routing window.

HLD loopback device does the trick quite nicely. I used it to redirect my controller keyboard input straight to a scope synth without having to load a sequencer

careful with HLD and sequencers. the problem might be better now but back in the day of p3s you could hear the HLD causing wavering if you make a sequence of identical hihats on 32nd, and play it really fast so it becomes a tone.

then i uninstalled it and the tone became steady.

when using the sequencer to play scope or outboard devices, the effect was a very hard to pinpoint strangeness about the timing.
