Flexor 3 highlights

Post by Kymeia »

I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade to Flexor 3. I can see what modules it contains on the site but it says there are around 500mb worth of prebuilt ensembles as well - what are these and what are the highlights to whet my appetite? Do they have some good patches already? I like to have somewhere to start.

In my opinion the prebuild patches are nice, but to take full advantage of the Flexor Pack you have to build your own stuff.

There`s no question that the pack is really powerful.
The prebuild patches are only a small percentage( 0,1% ? ) to show you what and how it can be done.

If you have fun with messing around with modular its a no brainer and I say just go for it.

The supplied pre-built patches are quite a good arsenal of sounds. They are not simple tutorials, sometimes very complex, other times very simple, but all are conceived as useful and possibly unique sounding "machines", from the 17th century tuned harpsichord to the celestial Chebyshev pads, from the matrix multiFX to Vocalizing mantras, from the unbelievably punchy basses to the arab maqmat tuned saz....and a lot of other very different things.

They are divided in category folders, Bass, Drums, FX, Granular, Synths, Pads, Sequences, Toys, Tutorial and Vocal.

The number of new FleXor 3 patches made by customers is also increasing, so you really can have so much stuff to play with immediatly that it will take quite sometime to try it all and then yes, as it has been said, the impressive amount of options and possibilities to make your own and unique stuff.

All this for the price of a single plugin.... :D
