Serbia won the Grand Prix 2007

Post by Herr Voigt »

Somebody from Serbia here? Congrats!
It was very intensive sung and had a good round arrangement, though the singer looks like the aunt of Daniel Küblböck. :D

Cheers, Thomas

I thought that hungarian Blues band was excellent especially the chick . We just saw the qualifiers here last night . God it's so sad getting ancient ...fancy watching the euro song fest on a saturday night
There was a lot of nice synth stuff lurking in the background I thought ,and there was a bass player in that young punkish band from lithuania?? finland??
cant really remember where from but he was mighty bass player for a little whippersnapper ,in fact he was a mighty bassplayer for anystage of life :)
Cheers
Paul
Love the backdrops ...how do they do that stuff ?

That's pretty analogous terms ya'll use.

Our Gran Prix, and NASCAR are races, and we call them qualifiers also.

A Battle Of The Bands, Great. Congrats to the Serbs, fer whooping the rest.

com'on guys... :-D
It's just kind of a war, at least every suggestion of whatever emotion is tried to express is false, it's even not a problem when everybody knows and accept that :-D
As false as the music is, as false was the ranking of course, as Holland (not even in the finale) should have won...
The only thing I always like about it, is the EVSF tune, ta daa tada tada taaa da, tatada tada taaa dadaa, etc., it rings my DNA I guess ;-)

Let's hope next year Kosovo will win, just for reasons of equilibrium ;-)

well, it's entertainment, and entertaining it was - this time, specially Apocalyptica and the circus artists during the voting break
almost all my 'personal' favourites made it to the top - would have liked #9 Hungary further up and that Croatia and Austria had made it through the semi final :(

#1 Serbia - most pathetic song and best arrangement
#2 Ukraine - most entertaining performance
#3 Russia - most cute appearance
#4 Turkey - most sucking dude of the contest
#5 Bulgaria - most unique contribution
#9 Hungary - best song
#10 Moldova - most stunning dress

Holland gets an honorable mention for 'best poor man's Halle Berry fake' and Greece is the big looser for trying to combine Ricky Martin's La Vida Loca with the hook of the Turkish contribution (OMG) :P

cheers, Tom
