Seeings how you asked 4 this, here's my opinion.

When using a controller, the 2 most important things are action, and control.
The M Audio KS88 Pro has both of these in a very large way.

Cubase transport controls
Scope mixer and FX
Scope synths
Scope B2003 drawbars ( w/ Mehdi's CC5 )
Big Titty videos while performing boring songs, etc., etc.

BTW, I just bought my 4th one brand new 4 320 USD 3 weeks ago.

The bottom row of buttons are used for various presets on the written synths.
Knobs and all controllers are so easy in SFP. You simply right click on any parameter in Scope, then simply touch, twist, or pull any of the KS88's controllers and they are stored. It's very, very simple, and these baby's are lightwieght to boot. Even in a road case they can be picked up w/ one hand.

I should have known. I ordered the Remote Zero SL for the synthesizer parameters 2 weeks ago, but it won't be incorporated till it's arrival in late April.

Hi,
It would be hard to find anything as good as the M Audio KS88 Pro for the price. I have a CME 61 also and that good and a lot cheaper :D
Cheers

Brotha' Man Endre70,
I just took this gig to get outta town, and rock the house down. I was touring w/ SFP / Giga up until 2 years ago. I had a key-tech then and barely knew the system. He was such an fargin' icehole, I couldn't speak to him during breaks. I learned everything from the guys here, and have since been stranded in Las Vegas, but it's all good. I use 2 SFP DAW's in my rig, and have one out on the road in a production band. They are great sounding rigs, and very stable. I have custom mixers from SpaceF, DAS, and SHARC / Shroomz that I use now. I outgrew the 1632. PM me if you need any specifics on good stable road rigs using SFP or Giga.
The CME controller is a great choice also. I almost bought the UF8. But once I started messing w/ the KS88's, I became addicted to the large amount of controls and haven't looked back.

The monopoly on 88's is over, and most of them are fairly cheap, except for the Fatars, which I found no difference in the action. So I bought the KS's. Hell you can break one @ a gig by dropping it, but buy another one brand new the next day w/ shipping for 320 to 350 USD !! Can't beat it, it's a sore dick deal.

Action being a issue ?
Hands down, the KS88's. Beware !!!! If you break a key on it, the cost of shipping to get it repaired, it's smarter to keep it 4 a spare. I now have 4 x 88's, for I am really busy sometimes, and it helps to always have a spare.
