My slot A Athlon computer motherboard is mounted on the left side, looking at the rear panel of the computer. What this means is that I open the right side to insert PCI cards. This arrangement mounts Pulsar upside down. If you look at the hardware picture on p.2 of "Hardware Connections" section, it appears that ADAT "in" is on the left side. Since my card is upside down, my first "in" is on the right side. I have two cards and today I just realized that my STDM connecting cable was also upside-down. I turned it over and all kinds of things are working for the first timeI even have all eight DSPs.
The small numbering on the STDM cables should be read from the top-side of the card.
I just thought I would pass this on to anyone who didn't already know about upside-down mounting problems.
