Creamware Resonator / Electro Harmonix Electric Mistress

Post by dawman »

I played a Hohner D6 Clavinet for years. It quickly took the place of my RMI EP.
I usually used half muted settings, as you could bring more of the string in with harder physical strikes, nowdays known as velocity. But I had couple of hardware FX like the small stone, and the Electric Mistress. All of my black brothas' just loved to play that set up for hours. I would use one hand to change the rate losing that critical left hand sync, but it was so cool sounding it had to be done.
Once again I went back to the stock effects to look for a flanger and tried this.
I found a great setting using the random LFO, and assigned MIDI CC's so both hands could keep jamming while I use the expression pedal to change parameters on the fly. This little beauty rocks. I can't believe I haven't been using this.
It now is on my ProWave clavinet patch, which I layer with the Gigastudio sampled D6 from Scarbee, and it is definately a contender.
I have such a signature sound in developement.

Our Platform Rules,

P.S. Almost forgot, Celmo's free Phaza is also added bi-directionally 4 that hypnotic looping effect. Use the LFO and MIDI, or as I do assign a controller to the rate, and just guess the length of the musical phrase, or loop.
