what's up with Creamware?

Post by Jah Servant »

I really like this whole system but it seems so hard to get help from these guys. I just upgraded to 4.5 and I can't use any of the new devices because they won't accept the keys I was given to register. So I wrote Creamware to ask for an all keys file because the download link they sent didn't work. They send a file but it doesn't work for any of the new devices, now they seem to be not replying to me. I also had the same problems when I first bought the system and it took a while to be able to use things. If I have keys why would they not work for the devices, what's the use of having an option to enter the keys if only the importing of a key file works? That was my problem when I first bought it, I couldn't write in the keys and had to wait for the all keys file. Anyways, I'm a patient fellow but I've spent my money specifically to have access to the new devices but I can't use them.

It's all hype.

You need the secret password to become one of the insiders.

I'll give you a hint..... you can find it here on PlanetZ if you look carefully ;)

ok, I'll stop being annoying.

You should contact Ralf directly from a non-hotmail account. I believe the problem is that Creamwares spamfilters are "very" efficient.

You can get in contact with him on this mailaddress:

rb (@) creamware (dot) de

Good luck!

oops - that reminds me...
there seems indeed to be a problem with the keys database, I forgot to tell Ralf that I have wrong keys on my page (or better a card that I don't own...)
Considering all the various upgrade options and re-registration of 2nd hand stuff that Ralf has to do manually it's not entirely surprising.
They certainly don't appreciate that their automatic registration system has been compromised, as once reported.

cheers, Tom

I tried that email but I get a message saying that delivery to that address has failed permanently, is there another way to get in touch with these guys?
