ESI GIGAPORT DG - USB to ADAT Optical Output Interface

I want to attach a second pc through ADAT to my Scope mixer. I wondered if anybody has tried this device. There were a couple of old posts on this but no feedback on whether it is good or not.

it's not good, because in works only in one direction (as sender).
As such it cannot sync to anything else, but has to be clockmaster - which I seriously doubt it can do reliably.
I haven't tried it myself, so this could as well be just a prejudice...

Thanks, there's some cheap ones on ebay at the moment and I just wondered. Another card is probably the best way to go.
