There are some keyboards that has no settings for velocity curves, and dont fit your way of playing (either to soft, or to hard).

It would be so easy to fix within Scope if such a device existed. You could insert the plugin just as you do with the Arpeggiator plugins.

Does this exist? I really need one...
If i knew how to program i would write it myself, but i dont!

You can do this-as well as much more-in realtime in quite a few apps that offer the semi-modular approach (Logic, Bidule, Max, etc). I'm not sure about apps with midi plugins (CubaseSx/Nuendo, Sonar).

You can also do this with ANY app that supports 'transforming' midi data (most of the major DAW apps do).

In addition there are some command line midi utils out there that offer functionality along similar lines to the semi-modular apps.

You can ALMOST do this in Midi-OX through data mapping, but there is no bias/transfer curve function so in reality you'd have to map out what each value 0-127 maps to by hand (define the curve with all 128 points). A bit tedious imo.

You could build something out of modular 2 or 3 using a curve table.

Really?!

Using wich modules? I have modular version 2 but i seldom use it because i use Scope as mixing enviroment only.

I never thought of processing midi with modular 2!

valis, thanks for the advices. Im using the old Cubase VST and dont know about any plugin that would work with it

I checked the manual and the "Midi Transformer" might work, im not sure though.
And in the demo there was no "Midi Transformer" to be found, so i cant try this either.

And even if i knew this would work, it says on the frontpage that the "shop is out of order", so there is no way for me to buy it?

Could anyone who already owns this plugin care to try it? See if you could change the curve to make higher or lower velocity values

I checked the manual and this module seems to do the trick just as i want!!

So i installed Modular 2, and i loaded the curve table module.

But the connections on the curve table module is blue, and wont connect with the yellow connections of the midi module.
Is there any way this can be fixed?

So if anyone could help me connect the midi modules to the curve table my problem would be solved

I have been looking at the modular 2 manual. I now think its not possible to process midi velocity using the available modules and send it out in midi form.

The curve table and MVC velocity/aftertouch curves can only be used to alter the velocity curve within your modular project (synth or effect).

An alternative is midiplugins as in post:-
