I hear that JRRShop in SoCal has done some sales. We need to promote this product 4 CW as it is our duty to help in their sucsess. Call all of the stores and ask 4 it on a daily basis, as this will help a little. Ask 4 the store manager though, not the person who answewrs the phone. I have emailed and called many people demanding that they carry it, or I will shop where the sales people have better ears!! It is up to us here in the USA to help our European brethren sucseed. As these stores are filled with so much crap on a flooring plan. CW is playing against a stacked deck. We can sit back and watch 4 results, or we can help. In the end result, we do have some control of our future with our beloved platform. Here in the USA I hear so many people crying about George Bush, but these are the same people who don't get off their lazy asses and go vote. So their backseat driving means nothing to me.

Strength And Honor,

The ASB's have been selling significantly better for us than Noah did (we still have a Noah here, actually).

Hi Wilma,

I pretty much figured out it was you already. There're not too many other Scope fanatics I know of in Vegas.

Yes That Is True,
I am trying to turn these Yamaha,Korg,Roland guys around as they all sound the same to me. Some are going to turn soon I believe, as they just can't continue to be punished by me so badly in public w/o any reply. The difference in sound quality is so unfair. It's not their fault that they are happy with mediocrity, but after they hear GS3 Orchestra ( which you sold me also) and SFP spitting out their fat shit with SPL's galore. I truly believe they will retaliate with some form of quality, hell even VST is at least an attempt to sound better, however after my opening at this new big dance club, their beating will be so severe that they will either get on the bandwagon, or refuse to open 4 us anymore. Since they are preset riders mostly, I will try to get them to buy ASB's. My quest continues.

Yours Abusively,

I'm currently in love with Cakewalk's new Rapture synth. It's the wavetable equivalent of MiniMax in terms of sound quality. It ROCKS!!!!

But good ol' Vectron has some features that Rapture doesn't...if Vectron could simply be updated with new anti-aliasing technology, it'd be the cat's meow. The drawing-in of new wavetables on the fly and the vector mixer can't be beat.

No, Rapture is a stand-alone package, but it's worth every cent. I can't say I've heard an amazing difference in the new 64-bit Sonar sound engine (which can run on 32-bit Windows), but the x64 version of Sonar can load all audio tracks directly into memory, which is cool. I don't have the 64-bit version of Windows, of course, because it's not supported by Scope.

As I said, if Vectron could be reengineered with new anti-aliasing technology a la MiniMax, it'd be AMAZING.

Hint, hint....

Thanks 4 Your Reply,
Maybe in the future after CW outsells Yamaha, Korg, Alesis, and Roland with their ASB's, they will throw SFP into the future. I would gladly buy into a new card set up 4 64 bit, and Sharc 200mhz DSP's. I must be insane, I am building SFP DAW #2 as we speak, with 3 x 15 DSP cards, and I am already looking ahead. I had better learn what I've got now.

Wilma, when's that big gig happening? It sounds worth making a drive out to Vegas to see.
