how many S/TDM connections do I need?

Hi all

I'll be a lucky owner of a second 15 dsp card. how many S/TDM connections should i have with 2 15dsp boards? all five?

I think it's common practice to fill them all. It would make for most efficient transfers between the cards. But practically you could do with a single one, unless you're getting "Ran out of STDM connections" errors.

thanx for the quick reply. I never got "out of S/TDM connections" with my current config with one scope and a pulsar II and 2 S/TDM connections, even if dsp load was about 90%. So I guess 3 connections would be fine to start...

thanx stardust...

got some other problems with the magma (other thread here), so looks like two 15dsp cards are a complete waiste of dsp if using in a magma :sad:
