vu meters

has anyone a device of 2vu meters analog style like vinco's for the mix buss, and how does one change the channels to db from 0-127 miditext? on the 2448, i've been reading michael stavrous book mixing with your mind and its good to have analog style vu meters on the output if they are accurate

Actually PPM-style meters would be better due to thier ballistics, there is a reason for the old joke of VU standing for Virtually Useless.

how about changing the 127 midi text stuff into db on the 2448?, ..ppm would not allow me to see +2volts so i could calibrate my channels, a trick from michael stavreou book called mixing with your mind, its about optimizing digital bits
