Just wondering...I have a Scope Project and two 6 SRB (one is an early one I think). How much can I expect to load...anyone with a similar setup...just wondering if I am getting all out of all three cards...
Thanks

Cricks,...wassup!!
I was using the exact setup until a week ago, till I went all the way w/ Solaris, and swapped a couple of cards and a 3.4EE from my studio box.
I was running Bluewave at 8 voice, Minimax at 6 voice, B2003, and Pro-12 at 4 voice, w/ 4 Aux channel FX, and 2 master FX, PsyQ, and a custom Pultec DP effect. This was in STM1632 though. Other mixers might add a different count. I found that I could save all synths at " 0 " voices, except Blue and B2003,as they come as is, then crank up the voices and watch the DSP meter, or you'll get that silly placement DSP window. By the way my friend, I'm not sure what version of GS3 you got, but I was using the BETA 3.0 which was fine, then I upgraded to 3.12 and now Blue Tubes isn't working on 2 plugs, both Modulation plugs, also I can't load certain 2.54 sounds I was using alot. I am very pissed, for now I can't recall the BETA version. So be forewarned.

The project I am using for electronic music right now on a 3 dsp board has:

4 1-voice instances of Comb Plus
4 2 band EQs for each of the Comb Plus Synths
3 Compressors
1 Limiter

(I used the free Mix 2 Stereo object to build a small input summing bus that doesn't seem to take any dsp.)

I think with six dsps you could add a real mixer instance, a couple delays, and a reverb on the sends. With the addition of a sampler device you could have your whole studio in the Scope environment.
