I have noticed the modular + flexor patch have much cpu dependency,I have one song wiht only 3 modular+flexor patch, the patch are include in flexor package, the patch are 2x "Algo the rythm" and one "Mono bass" with one note of polyfony for each in my song proget,my SPF have 35-40% of cpu clicle with this proget sutup,if I add 2 more "Algo the rythm " patch my CPU occupation of SPF it catches up 95 %!!,I have noticed that SPF synth don't occupe large CPU cicle ,instead the modular to very go up the occupation of mine cpu,it's normal this?? I love the modular ,need one more faster cpu??
I have p4 northwood 2.8 Ghz no HT 1Gb of RDRAM(rambus) and 2x powerpulsar and 1x Scope SRB total 45 DSP
it's normal this??
If you have time and you wants I will be truly pleasing, please if you have flexor, load this three patch of flexor pakage,2x "algo the rythm" and 1 x "mono Bass" in one proget with 2448stm and 8 channel ASIO source and post yuor system setup and cpu occupation,Im very curios of your cpu occopation in your daw system

..no indeed it's the Flexor patch itself. Just checked it and yes, I've got an astonishing 65% cpu load with only one "AlgoTheRhythm" patch loaded. Then I removed the Granular seq module and voila - cpu is back to normal (5%). I think this patch is corrupted somehow - so if you want to use it in any case, I would recommend you to rebuild it from scratch. (You can leave out some of the modules anyway, eg the poly rhymer which is not in use)
edit: as an alternative you can insert another Granular Seq module , cable it as the original one, and remove the "dirty" one after.
You may see an "incompatible preset file" error message if you want to create presets though.
