Ok guys. Enough is enough.
This was funny, but it's also kinda mean.
Give the guy a break.
He's hopefully learning something from this whole debacle. I think his "dubious" thread was originally started with the intention of being funny. Hey, everyone wants to be funny right? Only some people aren't very good at it, and just end up offending people. I think he WANTS respect here, but hasn't quite learned how to get it. We can't teach him how by beating him down.
Let's not retread all his prior offenses. I've exchanged some private messages with him, and he really does want to be a positive member of the community. Main goal for him: stay on topic- music and tools- and ignore things that you don't like rather than posting with anger/aggression/disprespect.
As for the rest of us, teach respect by giving respect. Let's try that for awhile.
Cheers,
-John
