If you install the 4.5 update from scratch and want to keep you existing vst plugins folder (mine is organized by categories and mixed with native folders), be warned that it won't work unless you change all the xtc.ini files contained within those folders.
The scope 4.5 update has changed the root folder name so it won't match the former xtc.ini path.
