i have recently bought a double sustain pedal originally build for the piano (with two pedal identical to the sustain pedal of the piano, even in the "feel").
as i was waying, they are two identical sustain switch: i press one and a CCx=127 is generated. i release and CCx=0 (where x depend on my masterkeyboard!).
with scope, is there a way to transform one of these pedal in an on/off switch (like a guitar fx pedal)?
i'd like to: press the pedal once and generate CCx=127. then, when i release, nothing happens.
i press the same pedal another time and a CCx=0 is generated. again, when i release, nothing happens.
(hope it ii clear!)
transforming a sustain pedal into an on/off switch?
You can link that CC# to any switch on synths or modular patches... (for example distortion bypass, delay send, etc)

no, that's not what i have in mind.
in that way, the switch simply follows the pedal state (down=on, up=off).
i want (pedal/CC switch)
down=on
then up=nothing
down again=off
then up=nothing
down=on
then up=nothing
down again=off
then up=nothing
etc
like what happens with a pedal fx (boss distortion for example)
i need something with a "latch"...
