I think http://www.bluebottle.com/index.php is a nicely designed site. It doesn't have frills and is quick to load on a dialup coonection.

Very nice to see all arty webpages, but they're so often more of an exercise for my eyes... After years, z is the page that still looks most confortable - to my eyes. There's more sober sites, but they're not as pretty :lol:

I'm not after anything moving or that sucks away attention from what I want to read. Luckily adblock removes most banners and pics for me, enlarging the view for actually usefull information :smile:

For some artwork, technically speaking, http://www.larrycarlson.com would be one of my favorites. [edit: doh, its offline, check http://www.ziplink.net/~s76 for now]
