Hi,

The A16 (ultra) can be connected to any pulsar2 card right ?

Or what are the requirements ? I saw I need a Zlink for the older IO boxes ?

You need 2x ADAT i/o or Z-link. If you want 8 channels of 24/96, you *need* Z-link.

I just need as much output as possible.

I want to route channels to external mixer and do final mixing on it. I wish to go live on day with ableton -> SFP -> external mixer.

ADAT are differnt qualities ?

ADAT = optical digital format that carries 8 channels. Your Pulsar2 has 2 of these, in and out, which you can connect to the A16 to give you 16 channels 44.1khz, or 8 channels 96khz.

Incidentally, I got it wrong in my post above - if you want *16* channels of 24/96 you'll need Z-link.
