Hi,
I got this problem:
i got a LunaII and a little behringer mixer (mx802a), that i use for connect a guitar and a mic. Now i'd connected the in/out of luna with the "tapein" and "tape out" of the behringer, but i'm sure it's not the best. i would like to connect the main out of the mixer with the luna in...but what about the out of the luna? where can i connect it for monitoring the signal coming out from the device (and from cubase) on my tannoy reveal and, at the same time, on my headphones, without being killed by a larsen????
Thanks
connecting external mixer
well, you can't with just that hardware. you can use the direct outs on a channel to feed the luna directly and you can return the luna to the mixer to monitor, but that's not ideal. you will likely need a headphone mixer to connect the luna outputs to. if the speaks are powered, you can connect them to the luna directly. a luna i/o box will give you more options. basically, you want to set up your studio with the computer at the center of everything for the most flexible setup. think about the signal flow and what you want to accomplish overall...
My dear friend...
First of all...thanks for the answer.
The prob is that the behringer got no direct out...and no buses!!!
I only got:
1. 4 mono ch with pre (jack 1/4 and xlr)
2. 2 stero ch without pre (jack 1/4)
3. 2 aux send and 2 stero aux return
4. 2 tracks in/out (rca)
5. 2 ctrl room
6. 2 main out
7. 1 headphones out
Have i got to buy a ch strip? or a pre???

a pre would be nice, especially for inputing guitar and bass if it had a high impeadance input. you might try the auxs to get the channels out without having to connect to the main outs. those channels don't have inserts? inserts can be used for direct outs, although you usually need to push the connector in only half way...
