Python vs Six String

right, the Six-String is about true physical modelling of strings. Obviously with an elaborated (proprietary) algorithm.
The Python isn't about accurate physics in the first place, but more about modelling the 'strategy' of an instrument with a triggering and a resonating part in a wider context.
The FM sources are used as the triggers send through a complex network to do the resonating sound sculpturing.
Since feedback is an important part here, that may indeed often end in almost chaotic scenes if the stuff runs out of control - for example if one just tries to explore the knobs by trial and error...
But it's in no way limited or specially focussed on destructive sounds - compare it with a high powered car, that runs marvellous with an experienced driver in control, but turns out to be a deadly toy for the novice.
At least Python is one of the most unique approaches in synth design and deserves a serious look - at the info pages or the manual, othewise it's fairly easy to get lost immediately.
It's definetely not the usual ADSR filter/amp thing - and no DX7 either
cheers, Tom
