Here's a new gizmo for you to play with. It's a tremolo module, but not at all like CreamWare's. The "LFO" is actually a regular oscillator, so it can go from low frequencies to very high frequencies. Also, it can do pulse width! The biggest plus in this device is the "smooth" option, so when you're using the pulse and saw waveforms, it smooths out the modulation. Very nice!

Also, an added delay delays the left or right modulation, which gives a side-to-side effect (not necessarily autopan, it's more powerful than that).

When you go into the high frequencies, it starts sounding like a decimator. You must have the smooth option turned OFF to do that. Play around with the pulse width modulation while decimating -- fun!

Another thing I should mention is the LFO gain: when set to straight up, it goes from min to max; when turned all the way up, it goes from negative max to positive max. You can't hear the negative, so it merely "cuts out" more than the regular Full setting.

No presets; you'll have to make your own.

Enjoy!

Shayne

Many thanks for this.......I've always wanted a tremolo that can do 'square' waves without clicking and here it is

Thanks, looks very promising but I'm getting an error message saying missing dsp file 'Async Switch 2 to 1' while trying to load this device.
I've checked the original installation files of Scope4 and there is no such dsp file either. What could be the problem? I suppose it's working for others?

It's a dsp file that should be copied in the dsp folder, maybe some people has it already because of installing previous devices who used it and installed it from the zip or the oxe, as I can see this file is the device alone....

Shayne, could you repack it in a zip with the dsp file too?

Sorry I haven't been keeping in contact with you guys, but I've had a cold the last few days and haven't even turned on my computer. I'm on my laptop now, and I don't have access to any of my Scope files. I think Piddi is giving away that DSP file? I really don't think CWA would mind.

I've noticed there are some DSP modules in the SDK that don't seem to be installed with the regular software. Before I got sick I had just finished up a new synth (this is a really cool one, guys!) that uses an ASync attenuator that wasn't in my Scope installation. I'll be releasing the new synth soon.

Cheers,

Shayne

Do you still need the DSP file?

Shayne, when you post a device, you should in any case pack it with the dsp files it needs, unless they are included in the very basic Scope installation.

I don't have any idea what DSP files any of my devices use. CreamWare's modules are all locked. I only know what I grab out of the DSP modules list, which isn't very many.
