Sorry for bringing this up in here, but I'm desperate to find a solution to get my DM-5 fixed and you guys might know where to go.

I specifically need to replace the value dial and the preview button. Yes, I know I can operate the DM-5 quite well thru MIDI, but I still want these functions.

I've tried through my music store which claims their distributor can't get the parts. I've emailed Alesis without answer so far.

Any other ideas?

dial encoders and buttons are pretty standard stuff - open the thing and check button size and manufacturer label of the dial.
Any (traditional) TV repair service can do the soldering for you, if that's not your cup of tea.
