Hi Electronicadub,

I liked that a lot especially the clock like beats and buzzs for the rhythm. It went well with the middle of the night atmosphere. It definitely has that distinctive bright Ensoniq sound.

Keep up the music.

Untill the incoming string sound I thought this could show up as a little masterpiece
The Rhodes-like melody during the long intro is in perfect contrast with the rest, remember, this sound is already harmonic and softy, it's power comes from the intimate character
The string sound, low and hi, disturbs in fact this intimacy a bit, at least it doesn't much contribute to what you already have.
As I understand that you'd like to have a laying sound from that point, I would see if you can find a preset with more character and some alienation.
The same about the rhythmic played saw synth, which lacks every character.

The intro looked to me as kind of minimalistic techno ambient, while the two synths sound like atmosphere creating new age...

If you keep the synth midi parts but change the presets with some more characteristic sounds which fit the minimalistic side you will get something special
Oh and the synth with closing filter envellop from the intro is ok, but I would keep it in the background a bit, to hang it at the tecky beats and grooves:-)
Good work anyway!

Thank you for your comments. IU shall remix it before Xmas, make it more alien-sounding and repost.

Very interesting & moody. But agree with Hubird that some more "emotional" sounds to replace strings & (especially) the saw would be more evocative. All the other little sounds are so unusual that the main melody parts seem to want their unique feel too.

Very much enjoyed this though, sonically satisfying
