I find it quite cool.
I have some problems, though nothing really sounds like it should. It's like in the refrain that the voices looses their character somehow.
To the sherlocks out there... The bass is actually vb-1 from cubase...hehe, but with some nice UAD treatment. Just to try. Have to get a real bass in there.
USES: STM1632, COMP & EQ vinco, optimaster, STM EQ, compressor X and 4080L. Celmo vintage delay

ROCK: FIRE
What's up on the kick there? Can you tell us what you are using? Its like it's heavily gated/edited and the sound isn't allowed to form fully so sounds a bit slappy and lacks a bit of oomph. But very smooth sounding mix.
The vocal is a bit out too much for me tuning wise (nicely recorded tho) but that might be the effect you are after?

hop again,
New version uploaded with new vocals, added strings and various edits
thx for your comments first of all...
I think the ref vocals sounds ok now, and yes the original bassvoice was really ugly...corrected that
Submarine: It's very nice you lake this song...the ending sounds odd, because it's not the real ending...for now I only posted 1 verse and 1 ref. The actual song is much longer...like 3 verses and so on. Normal rock song
Bassdude: I agree with the bassdrum. and I sang the vocals once again, even takes with a megaphone. What do you think of the BD now???
I should say that everything but the vocals and guitar is programmed. Ín the end I'll go for real instruments.

Still sounds pinched to me. Like a slow attack/fast release gate. But it's mainly in the verse where it sounds like it's fighting with the snare and hat on the same beat. These are programmed drums then? Maybe it's just the kick sample? I would try another one with less reverb to push it up front a bit more. Still sounds great overall though.
