yup I know, raised before and now again.

CWA Seem to get the audio part with the EasyCUT XP application. Would it be too difficult to add some MIDI to this ?

Question, can anyone tell if EasyCUT XP features CW plugins, or is it all host based and is ti therefore just using the I/Os ?
Is EasyCUT XP a replacement for Wavelab ? If so, I might consider buying it.

Protools ( ughhh ) still has a very big advantage with their dedicated audio/MIDI recording software. But PT has been develloped with a much bigger budged and that ofcourse is also the reason why it is so well engeneered or am I mistaking.

The only difficulty I can think of is the kazillion different pc components we use to build our DAW, and PT has a compatibilty list. But then still as long as we use A-brand parts and don't run internet, anti-virus, games, office etc on our machines, I think we might have a fair chance. If only CWA gave us that chance.

Hmmmm, on the otherhand I don't feel like ditching my Logic and Logic Control.

But I was just curious and now CW has become CWA and have their act together again, I thought let's discuss again.

PS I wrote this after my system kinda needed some maintenance again after an anoying PowerSampler issue. It could be my current config (Asus P4C800dlx mobo) just isn't like my previous DAW (Asus TUSL2C mobo). I just might go back to the TUSL-2C config, which was much more stable, infact that never had any issues.

PS2, after I finished the message above I read the "CreamWare vs. Pro Tools" thread and what a coincidense, maybe this should be be move in that thread ?
