so sack the theme???...I thought that was one of the fundamental tweaks for optimising DAWs.

No, no, this doesn't have to do anything with optimisations, it just changes the colors of windows backgrounds, fonts, menus etc. It's in the "Appearence" tab of the Display Properties menu. But one can save this layout as a new theme,(it does not enable all the animation crap).

Well, they are just using the web page backround set to the users (the programmer that built the page) Windows background which works if everyone uses the default windows background. :smile:

The problem is that he's not defining bgcolor via the body tag or css. Easily solved and something I noticed the first day. I sent a few emails off but I guess noone ever got around to it.

It would be VERY easy to fix, if you check http://www.cwaudio.de/creamware.css you'll find:
body
{
scrollbar-face-color:#E4ECB7;
scrollbar-highlight-color:#F5F6D1;
scrollbar-3dlight-color:#FFFFFF;
scrollbar-shadow-color:#C5CC00;
scrollbar-darkshadow-color:#404040;
scrollbar-track-color:#EBF3DF;
scrollbar-arrow-color:#000000;
}

It just needs a few more basic parameters defined (bgcolor being the one you noticed here).

I thought that I might add that the designer's site is: http://www.designer-ag.de/

Its possible he never responded to my emails because he doesn't speak english?

He added
bgcolor="#ffffff" to the body tag in the html. :smile:

I probably would have done it in the css just for simplicity's sake, but since he's using php its probably just 1 or 2 header templates. Interesting to see that this forum fared better at making him aware of this than all my emails to creamware and the designer. I even tried to send word through RedMuze to no avail :razz:

I was surprised the owner of 123 music store replied spacef so quickly. Asked my friend who is an internet guru about the phenomenon and he wasn't surprised. It is possible to track people visiting a particular site - what browser, where did he come from etc. so the same was probably with the CWA webmaster who's link is somewhere above my post :smile: I suppose this was done this way :cool:

I know, I know, it's probably opening the already open door that I've done :grin:

The 123 owner became member 1-2 days before spacef started the topic about it.
