Hopefully tomorrow I will be buying a used Pulsar II complete with Pro-Pack.
I am told this comes with sts 3000, lightwave, modular 3,etc.
What else should come as standard with this package?
The Classic I/O was mentioned - what exactly does this include?
I just want to make sure that everything that should come with the Pulsar II as standard is included...
Can I just remove my existing PowerSampler and fit the Pulsar II and continue using Scope 3.1?
I realise I will have to have the keys transferred over to my account etc. but is there anything else I should be aware of?
When I register Pulsar II if I set up a new account and download SFP 4.0 am I elegible for a half-price plug-in offer or is that just too cheeky?
Thanks & regards,

Upgrading PowerSampler -> Pulsar II
Hi GlynH
Try exploring the manual. It has some realy interesting info about using more than one card at a time (you don't have to take out your powersampler). Also read the 3.1c release notes for details about the contend of the propack. M3 is not a part of the pro-pack, but ofcoarse the seller could have bougth it seperate.

propack contains also Prisma and Masterverb (not MV pro though) and Mod2, but as Immanuel mentioned it's possible that the previous owner upgraded to Mod 3 already.
In your case it's most simple to 'take over' the complete previous account, but of course under your name and password.
I assume you haven't a lot of additional plugins registered to the Powersampler, so the changing the registration to your old account would only be trouble - it is really complicated, but of no practical use.
You should be able to aquire 2 plugins with 50% reduction, one for Powersampler and one for the Pulsar 2, once you register for SFP 4.
cheers, Tom

No, Masterverb comes with the standard Studio Tools Package, not the ProPack. The ProPack included: STS-3000, Synth Extension, Effects Extension, Mix Extension 1, and Modular 2.
You can have Pulsar2 (now Scope Project) running along PowerSampler easily, and you'll have nine DSPs. All you need is an S/TDM cable which you can order through a CreamWare dealer. You should have lots of fun with your new setup!

Thanks for the replies guys...
The main reason for getting the Pulsar II was of course the 6 DSP's...but the secondary consideration was in my current setup with my PowerSampler I have no free PCI slots left.
I so very nearly bought a 4 DSP SRB earlier today but of course it would have meant taking one of my other PCI cards out which I really didn't want to do.
I had been keeping one eye open for a PSII and found one earlier today at a good price so decided that the 'pain' of deciding which card to remove was no longer an issue.
The seller has just purchased a 15 DSP Scope (WOW!) and so has his existing 2 year old Pulsar II up for grabs -I guess he might be saving some of his plug-ins for his new board which was why I was originally wondering what should be included with the Pulsar II.
My original PS manual was in German but I will dig out the 3.1c notes and see what it references in there.
The upgrade to SFP 4.0 has rekindled my interest and not only have I already bought Minimax at 50% off I also purchased Vocodizer at the same time but on my existing PS card get the dreaded message "The capacity limit of your DSP cards has been reached..." hence my search for an SRB or better still Pulsar II
Thanks again & kind regards,
