I don't know this for sure, but from my recent investigation into the product line, it looks like the hardware is modular.
The Pulsar XTC is a DSP only board, but supports the I/O daughter boards that enable it to do external I/O. I'm almost sure that these same I/O daughter boards are used on all the boards too.
In other words, I think a Pulsar II is the same as the Pulsar XTC, but packaged with an I/O daughter board. According to this theory, you should just need to purchase the "Plus" I/O expansion board for the XTC to replace your current I/O daughter board.
This assumes Creamware hasn't changed their hardware since you bought your board.
You should, of course, contact Creamware or an authorized retailer to confirm this. You might try http://www.jrrshop.com. They were helpful when I recently ordered a board from them.
Cheers,
Bill

While the I/O plates are modular, I've been led to believe that some aren't compatible with older cards. I haven't seen I/O boards separately in our Creamware catalogs for a long time but that doesn't necessarily mean it wouldn't be possible to get one straight from Germany, want me to find out?
Thanks for the referral, Bill!
