hello all,
please let me know about this stuff. in our country 256module*2 DDR400 is around $100 and 256module*2 RD is around $210 !!(all kingstone) and some sales preson are telling that DDR is better than RD ! what do you think and why.

I think RD is better because faster, and you have to own the appropriate motherboard of course.
I think they want to sell you the DDR ram because these type of RAM are certainely to the end of their commercial life.

really,it probably won't matter much.i'm sure that that's what spelled the end of rdram even though the specs are better.(i have 2 machines w/rdram)

Dual channel ddr is the way to go for the future...intel has dropped rdram support entirely for over a year now.
