Hi everybody

I got a big problem concerning 2 pulsar 1 cards (2x midi in/out) using cubase and sounddiver simultaneously!

If any of you know how to setip cubase sx, pulsar and sounddiver i would be very thankful...

each....cubase and sounddiver work standalone with pulsar...but not together:

i don't know the correct routing in pulsar
and i don't know how to totally deactivate single midi ports in cubase (to make them available to sounddiver)

thank you in advance

If sounddiver is used with cubase they will both try to use the same midi ports. You will have to deactivate the midi ports in Cubase that you want sounddiver to be able to access. Luckily SFP allows the creation of quite a few midi ports and allows complex midi routing. If it were a normal midi i/o you'd be forced to use Hubi's/MidiOX or external cabling to get both sounddiver & cubase to see the same exdternal devices.

If you can get Soundiver to work, please let me know. I tried to use it with Pulsar and it wouldn't work. I ended up buying a USB Midiman MIDI port so I could communicate with the outside world. The Midiman worked perfectly.

I'm no MIDI expert. Maybe something I had hosed.
