Who has experiences with SOLARIS from Zarg-Music (John Bowen)?

It's the biggest device I know with full SFP functions inclusive XTC!

why not ask John for the demo ?
in fact it's huge and it sounds HUGE, worth every $ of it's price. Endless possibilities for tweaking plus several great preset lists.
Someone here considered it a steal and I second that.
The only reason why I didn't buy it yet is that it doesn't make much sense on 4 DSPs - though it runs at least and some presets still deliver a great sound

go for it if you have enough DSPs, Tom

Buy it. I've got it and it is really vast in features and sounds great. The range of this synth is near ridiculous. You could basically work with it for years and discover new things.

Not many 3rd party developers are also credited by CreamWare in the About page. The decision to buy the Solaris should be a no brainer...

And yes, it is a steal. There are many full blown hardware synths that cannot even hang with it.

I do have the demo, but I just want to hear other users (see forum there).

I will restate that it's my best buy ! ( bang for the buck )

The Swiss Army Knife : plenty of sound sources, modulations, multiple modulation targets per parameter very often, meaning you could be busy for a looooong time !!

It's the flagship, continuous attention and a new version already cooking !

It's fat so don't think about it under a Pulsar II, I have one and I can't use it at maximum potential but enough to grin tho !!

I must also add that John should refresh its screenshots and add more of the sources !

There are now 7 sound sources ...
