skipped expander and all default. classic i/o no xlr in/out. rca plugs.
nothing connected currently. toslink in/out (adat a) not working, b is ok.
except adat a and analog source noise remains ok.

I don't think there's anything wrong with your analog inputs. I was mistaken above when I said my XLR ins are the same, they are not (I was using another tool to monitor levels and forgot what mode I was in). But my RCA analog inputs for my Pulsar1 with "classic i/o" show the same as what you see.
This shows up on Scope mixers not because it's a problem, but because the Scope mixers reveal signals well below what many soundcard mixers do (for example, my RME's totalmix mixer -85 dBf is shown in the numeric readout, but the level-meter / LED only shows down to about -60db).
For your ADAT A, please post up a screenshot that includes your routing window AND the Samplerate settings, along with a description of what you're connecting to the "toslink" connections and where.

this is working if i connect toslink cable to adat b. if i connect adat a, don't work.

You need to set the adat to opt adat not opt s/pdif

If you set it to s/pdif it will use adat port a for a stereo s/pdif signal.

Yes thats what i mean.The signal is comming from the soundblaster i guess.The soundblaster can output s/pdif and no adat.The connectors look the same but the protocoll is different.if you want to use the adat a port then you should connect the soundbaster via a 75 ohm rca s/pdif cable to the s/pdif input on the cable whip of the scope card.The adat port on the scope card can be s/pdif OR adat.But not both at the same time.
Edit to clarify,the coax s/pdif in/output on the cable whip can be switched to optical s/pfdif which uses the (adat) port a.

no signal goes to soundblaster not coming. it goes with toslink cable.
when i select it like the picture nothing heard.

Ok but it doesnt really matter.Point is.The Optical port can be adat or s/pdif.If you want to use it with your soundblaster leave it to s/pdif.If you want to connect an externel ad/da multichannel converter or another device which accepts multichannel audio switch it to adat.Its either adat or s/pdif NOT both at the same time.
If you want that port for adat and ALSO want to use s/pdif with your soundblaster then use the optical port for adat(and switch it to adat) and use the yellow cinch s/pdif connectors on the cable whip of the scope card.You can then connect both and use adat on port a and s/pdif coaxial on the cable whip at the same time.Sorry but i cant be more clear than that.

ok here it is full. this config ok for adat b but adat a does not work. if i select opt.adat on samplerate settings window, all sounds stop.look below;

I believe usually, or always, you have to specify one card to be the master/sender, other one to be slave/receiver of the digital sync signal. And you should get a red led shining next to the one you selected on the menu, when it syncs with the other card.
I was wondering about using both spdif and adat together, thanks fluxpod.

no just one toslink cable goes from scope to sb audigy nx. if i connect this cable scope's b i hear sound, if i connect scope's other digital out i hear nothing. that's all. you know there are 2in-2out digital.

Thats because your soundblaster can NOT work with an adat signal.It only works with s/pdif.Same cable, different signals.

OK.
Right now I'm running my Scope card as master, with the spdif coax going to my Korg card on another computer. I specify the Korg spdif to be the slave, or it won't work. ( unless I do it the other way around, korg master, scope slave. ) One cable or two, spdif dest or both. And the red led lights up on the samplerate menu when the Korg-computer runs.

Again nothing wrong.
From the Scope manual under "I/Os & Drivers":
opt.ADAT selected: Each optical I/O
operates in ADAT mode (standard)
opt.SPDIF selected: The ADAT A optical port switches to S/PDIF mode. The S/PDIF output signal is transmitted over
both the opitcal and the coaxial outputs. The optical input receives S/PDIF signals, and the coaxial S/PDIF input is disabled.
Use the normal S/PDIF source and dest modules in the routing window

So, you're using the wrong settings and the wrong i/o modules for SPDIF. Set it to Opt. ADAT on the left and use the SPDIF modules *only* in your routing window (completely REMOVE the ADAT modules). Sync source should be SPDIF also (it is in your screenshots, that part is correct). Once that's done you then need to figure out if the Soundblaster wants to be in master or slave mode when used via spdif. Set the Scope master/slave as appropriate (the soundblaster will probably be fixed).

Ahhh thx for that valis! Long time no look in the manual for me....Interresting that it uses both opt and coax when switched to opt..but ok.

-80.77 is with the XLR in's plugged into an analog mixer but with the mixer off -- it's the same with or without power conditioning. With signal being sent from the mixer I get -77.2 to -80.77.
I deal with it as I only use the analog ins for monitoring the L-R outs of an analog mixer. I record critical audio using external external converters.
-77 to -80 is not really noticeable in the mix if you keep your signal levels high when recording, even multi tracked. I wouldn't have qualms with using the inputs for recording, so long as care is taken with the levels, but since I have some nicer converters, I use those instead. It's still very useful for monitoring my setup while I'm arranging tracks to record.
