They seems to be busy on other front...

I really don't know why Creamware (before) and Sonic Core (now) are so uncomunicative with PlanetZ community.
It could be interesting to share any future project/movement/strategies with this group of REALLY enthusiastic customers.
This brand lacks of advertising strategy and overall communication.

Why not to say i.e. WHEN and IF:
- linux drivers
- OSX drivers
- Vista drivers
- update/upgrade
- new synth
- new efx
- new BOARDS!!!
- new ASB/ASX
- etc.

WHEN & IF!!!
Please share clear with us your future business/production plan.
Don't make you frighten from the competition of others brands.
You are leader and only actor on the market with this kind of product.
Make you participate us of yours/our future.
Don't repeat the error of the CW that has brought the firm to the silence and the collapse.
Create around constant movement and chatters your job...
It doesn't care how much you will employ there to furnish new drivers and/or products, but the main point is that you make us informed of the thing.

WHEN & IF!!!
please.

I would love to be proved wrong but the impression I get is SonicCore are vary busy with their ASB products as their main source of revenue (makes business sense) and Vista drivers for scope are not the priority right now.

As Stardust points out, this isn't an 'official' forum for the products we use.

I'd also like to see more of an official presence around here, but although PlanetZ is an amazing & unsurpassed community structure for users & developers alike, in reality & in an official capacity it's a complete & utter minefield. .... constant stupid questions without reading the f***ing manual, constant unrealistic demands, requests & snipes at CW over the years which carries on through to the new owners of the IP.... WTF? Please give them a break & some time to establish.

Apart from anything else, I think with the amount of utter BS going on, they'd be completely mad, even suicidal to get too involved or comment on anything they don't see fit to comment on.

I really do think that SonicCore value this community very much & no doubt they are involved in one way or another, but that doesn't mean they need to comment here at all, never mind answering our every whim (stupidity aside)

again, give 'em a break. At least for a while, as things have & are changing by the looks of it.

peace,
Shroomz

why is this question put up again and again while no official announcement on the SC site is available to confirm or deny the availability of vista drivers?
this forum is not the official voice of SC. if it's not on their website, or if you don't know it from SC by email, it is just not there.
Because there are people on these forums that may have close ties, or leaked information, its a fact of the internet.
may have... could be...
come on, would you really trust me if I told you I had ralf on the phone last week and he told me vista drivers are close to release?
this is pure speculation, and nothing, I repeat: nothing, is confirmed unless SC announces it. I don't deny that I'd like to see progress, but bugging the forum again and again won't help to get anything released. and wondering why continuous bugging causes continuous OS debates (and the like) is... well, just think about it :D

no offense, mate.

-greetings, markus-

ps. ah yes, and remember shroomz: give them some rest :)

hey kylie, what did ralf said exactly.... ? lol, hahaha  :D

no, seriously,

it has to be said that the chances are now way better than they ever were in the last years that we`ll see new stuff for this platform or other products.
At least now we can have hope to see something.
In the last years there was just the standard answer here: "all coders left creamware, so there is no hope at all."

now there are very skilled people behind soniccore : a hardware developer, a software coder, a dsp coder, a very kindly and helpful fast responding support-man (the keymaker), John Bowen as one of the most skilled synth developers ( a honor for the platform) and a connection to india with a another visionist audio developer and creamware founder.

I must say I m more than optimistic that they are not only sitting on the licences at all.

We all know what Holger has written, that scope is some sort of baby for them and so on.....

I think they have some plans, but they keep it professional and don`t talk about it unless they have something in their hand in the back.
This is the way every professional company acts like.
Forum presence needs much time and I would rather like to see them cooking up new stuff than hanging around in here.

Its good as it is. :D

but it's their decision to do it or not.
if they did, it wouldn't change the situation much. let's say there was an announcement on the development of vista drivers. the arising speculation wouldn't be anymore whether it will be done or not but when. I (but that may be just me) would not consider that an improvement...

They announced OS X support years ago when I bought my Pulsar I and II cards. At the time it was a deciding factor for me. We all see how that went - good luck with Vista.

Housed them in an older OS9 machine for a good year - Now housed in an old PC machine and collecting dust. Seems to be a dead platform as far as I can tell. Works great the way it is, but needs some new life.

Glad I have my Pulsar Cards, but I have found better and more practical solutions in the wake of Creamware's slow descent into obscurity.

we germans obviously love this "false friend" :) . I happen to enter this trip every now and then, too...
I'm sure you are aware of the meaning of "must not"... :)
