I really found your comment interesting and honestly, if SFP synths are generally accepted as to 'rule', why not the production tools ?

cheers, Tom
it seems that they are true broadcast professional who do not think like you.
Eric, you are forgiven for your language problems
first of all I did not write about my opinion, but about the 'general reputation'
then you quote out of context, so the sense of the rhethoric question is lost

it is just another way to say that ...Scope production tools deserve the same great reputation as the synths already have gained...

cheers, Tom

celmo was (and is)one of the best sound synthe in paris.i have worked on sessions where he use fairlight ("d'une rive a l'autre",m.jonasz /a.goldstein) very nice sound and very good feeling and arrangement.

Celmo was a sort of goal for anybody in the synthesizer departement long time ago when I was a teenager. You could follow his carrer just by reading interviews about him in the music mags. Celmo's fairlight, Celmo and the S1000 , Celmo keyboard programming for KASSAV... etc
I finally met him when I was myself writing in the music mags. Great passionate guy !

Celmar, Coeuriot, Goldstein & Jonasz all at once in a gig... Congrats eric.

Glad to see that we all can play in the same playground together.
Thanks 4 the information regarding Celmo.
I love his work 4 our platform, and he always helps via email w/ anything you would like.
He made Blue Wave w/ 16 voice poly 4 me. It came w/ 5 voices, I asked for more poly, then he sent me a 16 voice device, probably so I wouldn't bother him again.

@ bifop

@ astroman

that's true,i don't speak well english,but a reputaion is made by users,and you are a cw user,i'm a cw user,bifop,musurgio...majority of us here.
in france we have "2 you" one for singular person and one for plurial...
in this case, i was talking to all of you (plurial in french)
french is also difficult for some of us...and maybe, like you do,i use some words which can be interpreted...sort of humor.

@ scope4live

of course i'm able to play same game as you all.when people gives me good felling,i do the same.when it's a bad feeling i give him more than bad.
that's the way i like to live.maybe that's latin life...

Did you do any sessions w/ Jarre? What synths did he use. He had so many awesome sounding presets for commercial use. I can't find any doc's on this, that's why your POSITIVE input is appreciated.

Forgot to tell you guys, I have to get my SAG card updated. It seems as though Scope4live will be filmed playing old covers @ the Aladdin this week for a quick scan of the band in the series " Las Vegas ", w/ James Caan, and several fine ho's like Molly Simms from Kentucky,.....LoL,...what a fierce peice of ass that is. Look Below,.... :o

That is how we practiced ear training for Jazz theory and composition classes. A cluster of notes must be desiphered to understand it's relation involing intervals. the distance between pitches.
I knew you'd been around, and appreciate the stories, these are all inspiring to me. This is a forum 4 learning, but sharing experiences is a big part IMHO.

Mrs. Scope4live does not exist as of yet. But my fiancee is off in Arizona hustling golfers for big bucks. She also makes my balls smoke, and has bought many of my devices.

digitalaudiosoft wrote: that's not what i say...i say , i'm not able to make a real emulation.but, when you use analog preamp from scope, you have a closer approach than in all digital.
and after all, an emulation is still just an emulation. plus you can ruin everything with a bad preamp before it even reaches the emulation.

most of the stuff that uad offers as real gear emulation is equipment I probably won't be able to even touch, and so is the gear that inspired you to make your devs. I couldn't double-check them with the original even if I wanted to, and still they are useful to me even if you reskinned them not to be a lookalike of their famous ancestors.
they all offer the advantage of fitting into my budget and into my daw setup. how could I ask for more? :)

The blond girl is a good emulation of my wife :D Does it mean that they are identical ? No. I keep my wife although the blond one is cute.... That's what emulation means :D :D :D

must be the promo mode which lacks an off switch ;-)
(but you can't emulate something that isn't there...)

close to. "genuine imitation leather" damn looks like real leather. it almost feels like, although there are enough people that can tell real from fake. it may have additional features real leather doesn't have, as well as it may lack several. it is mostly cheaper. and then there's something in your head that tells you "...but it's not the real thing, somehow. mhm." :D
