@katano
in- and output are not the same level, aren't they? you may should set the volume to the same for better comparison?
Unprocessed drums (you mean that with input?) had allready gone through Optimaster & Co. They were for my purpose 'processed' and I guess normalized too but then they went through 'XL' and you hear how extremely fat they grow. That's exactly what XL did. Fattening up an allready normalized input which sounds silent in comparison to the processed output.

In the song I used them (all single instruments are played by my pupils by the way (and corrected in timing by me  ) in the unprocessed version, but maybe some XL would have been good too.

ok, i just thought for better comparison, it could be nice to set the volume level (felt, not measured) to the same value...

and yes, i meant the pre-xl-processed drum compared to the post-xl-processed drum...

But that would not demonstrate, what XL can do to loudness!?
Preprocessed drums are normalized. More is not possible. I could lower the postprocessed output - is this what you mean? But then it wouldn't be normalized and still have gain reserves...

It is exactly the aim of XL to raise volume of normalized audio (hitting the 0 db border) where you can't raise the volume with gain anymore. (what is e.g. the aim of a mastering limiter)

P.S. If I set a higher input for preprocessed it would distort!

yes, this is what i meant. so that one is able to hear not only the loudness, but also the character of your xl... in case you want to use it on some tracks in a mix to bring it in foreground a bit without getting it louder (like we usually do with a compressor)... never mind, just a tic of mine

MCCYRANO I follow your great work but have touble keeping up with the plenty of changes, improvements and news...

PLZ: Create something like a MCCYRANO-PLANETZ-COMPLET_1.0.0.zip package including all and everything. I would like to get all your great work with just one package rather than scanning the planetz forum.

And many thanks for your great work. I like your devices, I like the frontend design you give your devices...Keep it going

By the way: There was some talk about getting money for your devices. Have you thought about paypal? Maybe some of us would be willing to contribute...

The COMPLETE 1.00 package is a very good idea!!!

I plan to start a homepage for the devices with the release of MOVEQ+. Although it will be done very cheap in the beginning I will find the time later to make it look more professional. On the homepage you'll find your desired package . For now I'm too busy for all that with my 'normal' job (I plan to do some optimisations to all the devices too before releasing the package (what will take one whole day/weekend I think)).

Concerning the money, all that has to be in cooperation with creamware (as it is planed with MOVEQ+), because only they may allow something which goes in the commercial direction.

I hope the release of MOVEQ+ will bring a very fresh wind to the pricing in the shop.
Shroomz and I follow our ideas which we have formulated in earlier posts.

I'm really excited about all that's happening right now and I will spend all time on it that I'm able to - though it'll be not much
till mid-november. Hope it will be better again then. (EDIT: No  it won't... I will probably get a job for making music for an 'arte-tv' film. Another dream coming true!)
