The presets files not save something data, in example solo´s buttons, the channel EQ nothing, select channel nothing and more, it´s for profesional use... mmmm... To much aplications can controled with mackie control, Creamware nothing...

I want to much idea for creamware developers, but where is creamware you send a mail and they answer: you can control this by MIDI assigment...

P.d. I read the manual 10 or more times...

Sorry for my english!

Again, you can automate the channel selection by assigning a CC# to the number at the bottom of STM2448's Master Panel, the one that is repeated on top and can be dragged up/down with the mouse.

If you really want to automate EQ and Compressor, use insert FX... It's a workaround on the issue with the built-in effects.

I know it would be so much more fun to have different channels of MIDI for the mixer channels. Or just to make a preset per channel and change MIDI preset with the channel selection, as I think you're trying to do. But that doesn't work for now. Anyone had a look at Sonolive's mixer (which is in Devices forum)? I think also Shayne White's mixer uses different MIDI channel for each mixer channel.

And for now, I'm not quite sure if there is anyone at CW's that can improve this MIDI implementation.

I want to request excuses in name of Nitri, only towards a joke, but its dominion of the english language is not to the height. Please excuse him. I have recriminated him his action in Spanish so that can understand to it.Thank you to all and let's go to Scope

Hola,

I'd just like to say that it never felt to me like the prices of creamware gear were professional. The Pro Tools stuff has been consistently about 3 times the price. Sure they might offer better support or whatever (i don't know) - but I bet even they still have problems and issues. And if you look at the pure hardware gear, you're talking the price of a creamware board just for one synth ! A pro mixer ? Unattainable ...

It is frustrating when there are problems, but one good thing about the scope system is that there are almost always workarounds. The routing options are so flexible ...

hasta luego,

Will.

I agree with your opinion, Scope it is a very flexible platform, in order to include any project, it´s more cheaper than Protools, highly proffesional.
In other hand there is some bugs to solve and to criticize but time to time, in other post somebody say that "Fairlight uses CreamWare in their new DAW", and it´s rigth, this show that Scope is high quality.

oh yeah
read a magazine review of the Sony Oxford Reverb today, subtitled 'a new definition of reverb', the headline already had it 'One of the Best'
and yes, qualitywise it's '...certainly on par with any (good) convolution reverb, with the addition that the algorithmic verb (the Oxford) sounds just a nuance more detailed and dynamic.'

sells as LE for 500 Euro, full 988
@Warp69 - you may reconsider your prices, but please leave an offer for early customers...

LOL - are they really trying to repeat the Yamaha (hi)story - the DX7 event ?
There was this new FM synth algo, introduced on a comletely unaffordable keyboard - something one could dream of...

2 years later (when everyone eventually had heard or read of it) you could buy the dream around the corner - for a price that turned any competitor's face into a whiter shade of pale...
And yes, of course the synth was GREAT - had to be - wasn't it from THAT unaffordable piece of gear...

And no - I don't believe the Scope stuff is even a one single from 32 bits worse than Sony's - it just doesn't have the expensive heritage.
I believe it - but I dunno - I don't own one of these consoles and I don't miss one (at all) a DX7 still sounds like a DX7 regardless how much Sony follows...

maybe they built this console for only 2 reasons:
a.) the fun of the engineers (keep 'em busy for motivation's sake)
b.) to make the real biz with obscure plugins one could 'relate' to the thingy

loving marketing, Tom
in fact just kidding...
