Hey people

I'm a big modular freak... love the system

one think i never got to figure out is how do i get bipolar modulation?

i want lets say an enevlope or lfo or whatever to modulate some parameter not necessarily to the (+) positive side... how do i do this?

this is pretty basic stuff... but i cant find a way to do it.

well, envelopes are unipolar, but lfos are bipolar by default.
in modular3 you will find few handy modules like inverter, uni2bi and bi2uni converters.
you can also make an inverter from ringmodulator and constant value bipolar.
free ValMonitor by Red Muze is very handy for checkin out what is goin on.
Note: modulation amount pots on modules like ie. filters just scale modulation, so if you feed mod input with negative values, modulation will be negative.
just because you cannot imagine something that doesn't exclude it from reality.
