install error/hardware version 12 detected >pulsar-cubase

got a brandnew pc...
intel p4 2600
pulsar 1 board
sfp 3.1 c

when opening cubase sx 1

got this error....
cub sx says while initialising.....at this point...on sim.dll and sim2k.dll

install error/hardware version 12 detected
hardware needs new softwaredriver.....huh !!!

what am I doing wrong ??

Hi guy i got the same problem under XP & SFP3.1C& SX2.0

How did you fix it ?

it's possible you don't have the appropriate modules(sequencer midi source/dest , wav soruce/dest and/or asio source/dest) in the routing window BEFORE opening sx. also, in the settings window(set/settings), you need to uncheck "xtc mode".

i might ask first, if you really installed the driver. windows would ask for it, but it won't force you to install it. check the device manager, any question marks or exclamation points? this combo has worked for me many times on a number of computers.(xp, sx, 3.1c).

The driver is correctly instaled (i have forced the installation 'cause it has no digital signature from Micro$oft)

I have not yet reinstalled with "XTC mode", i will, but i have a question about a "simple" audio routing from SFP routing windows; need i to asio wire into the mixer,in fact actually i use the "default" project, and i add wire from output to asio out ( i think i don't make all things right but i have a german printed handbook, and i don't speak german ;o( )
