Actually I did everything but the singing and I rearranged and altered that quite a bit.

Wow,

That Dr. Who comment took me back  This has some really interesting textures, its so different from the normal stuff ya hear these days, are these synths all CW plugs? sounds like some hardware synths in there, some old school synths. that synth that pans hard right is the ultimate..

Cheers!

I used the CW Vinco a lot and CW/Flexor near the end. The hardware was a Nord G2 for the main part and some Waldorf Micro Q. Software synths include a bit of Reason and many sounds that had so many effects I can't even begin to remember how I made them. I consider my laptop which is a second computer to be an important tool. Now I never have to leave bed!

I was trying to make something which would fit with the singers voice and please the one woman band (ALP). It's not exactly what I would do on my own. If I had more time to complete it, I would have done some things differently. To me it sounds okay but the important thing is Bev Stanton loved it. She's having a release party for the project at Japones in Washingotn DC on November 6. It looks like an underwater cave and they serve sushi.

Great music, really interesting sounds, unusual arrangement. Liked the fast little intro, drums and scratchy little sounds. The portamento lead/solo bits are interesting too.

I especially appreciate how you haven't flogged the good bits to death, but just dabbed them in

The voice is good, but those lyrics ! They're simply awful. "Ravaged by a savage" and "I want to be a ho" ? The singer doesn't sound convinced by them either...

Perhaps what is meant is,

I want to be a

?

Interesting arrangement, nice quirky sounds and I like the singer's voice (although agree with Spirit regarding the lyrics).
