Some of my XTC plugins (quite a few) have not installed correctly, they appear in the VST folder, can be selected in Cubase but when I bring up the VST window for the plugin there are no options and the window is blank...
I have tried reinstalling...
Some XTC plugins wont install properly...
Are you talkin g about synths or effects? Most of the effects cannot be loaded directly into Cubase, you only get a blank window. You need to load a MultiFX unit and load the desired effect from within it.
Edit: Or if you have problems with third party plugins you wish to use in XTC mode, look at this thread:

What do you mean by a MultiFX unit? Is this still within XTC mode?
If I were to do the same thing, how would I achieve this wihtout using XTC mode?
What I wish to do is use compression and other effects (all exept reverb) on a track? Would I have to set up an effects send which would feed back into SCOPE and then back into Cubase again?

A multiFX unit is a CW plugin that in SFP mode is used to gather several inserts into one slot in the mixer.
And yes, I mean that you should use it in XTC mode (in cubase) to enable you to load CW xtc plugins correctly. It can be found under the heading "others" among you plugins in Cubase.
For example, in your audio track in Cubase where you wish to apply your CW effect, load a MultiFX unit. From withing that, load the CW plugin you wish.
I´ve noticed that some CW xtc plugins work in Cubase without this, and some dont.

I have had a similar problem with poison and some of the creamware plugins ever since I started using the Zarg synths or got a Luna2 in addition to my Pulsar2 (I'm not sure which one it was anymore)- when I start Cubase and it initializes everything it says:
Luna cannot be used in XTC accelerator mode.
Then when I try to load it or for example the AutoWah effect it says the plugin could not be loaded ('Das Plugin konnte nicht geladen werden'
).
Does anybody have experience with this?
