<a name="planetz-file"></a><a href="http://www.planetz.com/Pulsar/files/dev ... .zip"><img src="/forums/images/file_icon.gif" border="0" alt=" File"> File</a><BR> <a name="planetz-tag"></a>Price ($USD): 0<BR> <a name="planetz-tag"></a>Type: Synth<BR> <a name="planetz-tag"></a>Related To: Modular<BR> <a name="planetz-tag"></a>Requires: Modular 2<BR> _____________________________________<BR><BR> I've decided to release these 2 modules for free, since there was a request for such modules recently on the forum, and it only is beneficial for those who have purchased the RD series (or the forthcoming 'satellite modules' from Mehdi).

There are two Modular modules in the Zarg RD folder, a single Modular RD Insert, and an RD Dual Osc Insert. These are for use in a Modular II or III patch, and will allow you to load oscillator or filter RD Modules into your Modular patch. Designed primarily for oscillators, you can also use them with filters. To use for filters, connect the audio signal for filter input to the Shape input. (The Aux output on the single RD Insert may or may not output a signal, depending on the inserted module. Usually its nothing...).

For ease of use, place the Zarg RD folder in your Modular 2 directory:

SFP/Modular2 Modules/Zarg RD

This way the Zarg RD category will appear in the Modular module select bar.

If you have any questions, please let me know!

Enjoy,
John Bowen
Zarg Music

P.S. Now both modules are the same size

A good opportunity for me to give this classic, simple, free oscillator satellite :
Here is a simple example of how to use it with the RD Inserts in Modular II or III.
InfernOsc1 receive Freq information and outputs the resulting oscillation.
Download here
nb : this satellite is an example made some mothes ago. it is not part of the spacef black box nor reflective of its content either in term of feature, sound, graphic size and design. given as is, no support.
The picture is only an example.

You can also add an effect insert slot after the Poly Out, and use... effects (eqs, dynamic etc)..
You can try the InfernOsc in other such shells as John Bowen's RD or my Synthetic Dx (not released yet, sorry and thanks for your patience).

errata in install info: to use with RD insert, you must Also copy the folder into SFP/Devices/Effects/Stereo...
It is possible that it is only monophonic in the modular.

Hi John,
you made the single one one unit and half, so it just occupies all the 60 units but is large 45...It could stay so, but can confuse people when they try to put something right below.

Hi megerov,
sorry I forgot to save the patch and don't have it anymore. it was only an example for the picture, but I think it's even better so people can make their own patches and learn etc...
later may be. sorry.
Best regards
Mehdi
