Any Profit5 and Zarg Proph@t owners out there ?

A place to talk about whatever Scope music/gear related stuff you want.

Whats the deal ? Is it wort getting the CWA Profit5 if you own Zargs Proph@t Plus ? Can someone post some demo sounds without effects so we can hear the true nature of this beast ?

can't help, but imho CWA's Profit5 is their sonically 'best' sounding synth so far - and I'm talking about a single voice and dry to the bone
I don't have the Zarg version, though, so I can only compare it to the Solaris.
The two synths nicely complement each other

cheers, Tom

I say get Proph@t before it disappears then Profit !

They sound different and they have at places modulations differences + some extra for Proph@t ( compare the GUIs ).

I find the Profit sharper and colder, I prefer the unison ; the Proph@t warmer, rounder, more presets creations potential.

With the STM 1632, 5 voices fill 5 DSP on the Profit and nearly 6 on the Proph@t.

Since I never own the real stuff, no words about faitfulness but both sounds great and really complement each other very nicely indeed !

I'd really love ( again and again ) CWA to boost their previous VAs with what they picked on John's synth : more modulations to increase the sonic range of these beasts

I'am poorer but very happy !

Hi All,

Just wanted to mention - I'll be removing the Proph@t Plus from sale at the end of this month.
If you have any questions regarding differences between the Profit 5 and my version, please send me an email.

Cheers,
